"The Natural Remedy"
Problem Dog Dandruff
Dog dandruff is an unsightly condition afflicting many dogs. This condition can be quite uncomfortable to your dog as the itching drives the dogs crazy! Eliminating dandruff can be done easily with 1st Impressions Shampoo.
Skin, your dog's largest organ, is constantly replenishing itself, and in doing so some flaky skin will appear on your dog's dark shiny coat. Compounding the problem is a tendency in some dogs, through nervous or stressful situations, to "shed" additional amounts of surface skin. There may also be "surface scum" which is dirt or residue left from the previous shampoo and conditioner. The end result is dog dandruff.
Many breeds (such as Rottweilers and Dobermans) are not bathed and shown on the same day because the shampoo and conditioner do an incomplete job and the dandruff persists. Therefore, the dog washed one or two days prior to the show, is still carrying dirt molecules, which dull the coat.
In a container add approximately 3/4 cup of 1st In-Line 1st Impression Deep Cleansing Shampoo to 1 gallon of water. Thoroughly wet your dog and wash using a sponge or other means to apply shampoo. Rinse! Repeat the above steps for deep cleaning of the skin while brightening and whitening of the coat by leaving the shampoo on 3 to 5 minutes. You'll note an increased amount of lather because most of the surface dirt, oil and scum was removed after the first rinse. 1st In-Line Products will not dry out or damage your animal's coat due to the protective ingredients that are included in our shampoo. But it is show time and you want show clean!
"The Tip"
When washing a short coated dog, use a Boar Bristle brush, brushing back against the grain of the coat and working the lather down to the skin. This will help loosen and eliminate most flakiness.
Our additives including Guar and Chamomile help restore and enhance the coats' natural shine while soothing and softening the skin.
Well, time's runnin' late and you've got a dog to show. Stay with us and we'll see you in our Winners Circle.

How to Remove Staining and Yellowing
The following procedure should help remove any yellow tinge or stain and leave your animal's coat bright and white.
This same procedure will also serve to heighten the contrast for colored coats as well.
This tip is based on reapplying a fine layer of 1st Satin Conditioner to the dog's coat to eliminate staining and yellowing.
This procedure can also prevent the staining agents, from the environment, from getting through to the animal's coat.
1. First bathe your animal with 1st Impression Shampoo (Step One)

2. Dilute the 1st Satin Conditioner 10:1. (Step Two) Apply generously to the areas prone to staining with a sponge.
Do not rinse.
3. Repeat the application of conditioner daily for a minimum of 4 days. For easy application, mix conditioner in a spray bottle.
4. When desired, shampoo your animal thoroughly as described in step 1. The staining elements from the environment will have collected on the
conditioner and will rinse off leaving your animal's coat bright, with a luxurious satin feel and look!
WHELPING BITCH
To minimize staining, mix 1st Satin Conditioner at a 10 to 1 ratio and apply liberally throughout entire hindquarters including legs and tail.
Do not rinse. And apply one to two days prior to whelping.
After delivery and celebration, shampoo with 1st Impression Shampoo and rinse thoroughly. Shampoo again for additional cleaning and rinse,
then re apply conditioner at 20 to 1 ratio. This can be either rinsed out or left in.
3rd STEP TO SUCCESS
How to remove that yellow
1st Snow White Whitening Spray was developed specifically to enhance the true white color of the coat and yet also will increase the depth and
contrast on two color and multicolored coats without fading the color. This is done without the use of bleach or bluing thus eliminating the
fear of drying or damaging the hair.
Used as directed this advanced formula spray will help eliminate yellowing and staining from the animal's coat and will restore it to a
brilliant natural color.
Directions
1. Thoroughly wash the animal with 1st Impression Deep Cleansing Shampoo (Step One)
2. Next use 1st Satin Conditioner. (Step Two)
For the best results for whitening those troubled areas, we recommend, that the animal be damp. Spray 1st Snow White on the areas you wish to
whiten and brighten, making it very wet, then brush in thoroughly using a forward and backward motion. This will insure you are not only coating
the hair on the top but, also on the bottom of the hair, throughout the entire coat. This will give the coat color a more uniform appearance.
Let stand for at least 5 minutes (do not rinse out) and then blow dry.
Caution
1st Snow White was designed to enhance the true white color of the coat and should not be used in conjunction with a bluing shampoo.
When spraying onto a dry coat, extra care must be taken to feather the spray into the surrounding areas to avoid spotting.
To avoid eyestrain the freshly groomed animal is
best viewed with sunglasses!!!!

Show Ring Shine
1st Glance Finishing Spray will add that finished look to a perfectly groomed animal. Used as directed, this advanced formula spray adds shine,
fullness and body while helping each hair to lay as nature intended.
DIRECTIONS:
For Long Coated Dogs:
Spray directly onto the wet or dry coat then lift the coat underneath with a brush and spray to add that fullness and body where needed.
To make the coat lie flat, spray coat and then brush down into the hair and then using your hand, brush and pull the coat down into place.
This will help eliminate waving.
For Curly Coated Dogs:
Use spray to reconstruct the hair by pulling the hair straight and holding it into place while drying. This will also make for easier scissoring.
For Harsh Coated Dogs:
Spray directly on wet or dry coat and brush in backwards (towards the head). This will build texture and body. Gently brush the coat back into place.
For Double Coated Dogs:
Spray directly on wet or dry coat and brush backwards (towards the head) to add body to the undercoat while giving the outer coat more
fullness and shine. Gently brush the hair to make your dog conform to the AKC Standard.
